I am Chue En Jye,

Playing piano is my passion and seeing my students enjoy playing them gives me great pleasure and satisfaction.

I have been a full time piano teacher since I obtained my professional diplomas in teaching more than 20 years ago, from the London College of Music (LLCM) and Royal School of Music (Dip. ABRSM).

Music’s influence on one’s life cannot be over-emphasized. I see myself as an ambassador of music and would gladly help, from exploring and discovering one’s interest in music to equipping one with the necessary knowledge and skills to appreciate and play the piano competently.

Apart from teaching the classical piano pieces to prepare the students for the piano examinations, I introduce elements of pop music, hymns and also contemporary music of different genre such as jazz to arouse the student’s interest for music.

In order to keep myself abreast of the latest development and trend in the piano examination syllabus and music in general, I attend related seminars regularly. My active involvement as pianist for schools and church have also widened my exposures, experience and have certainly horned my playing skills. Besides piano teaching, I also do piano accompaniment for various instrumental examinations such as violin, cello and flute.

Piano has given me so much joy in life and I would certainly like to share it with anyone, be it a child or an adult. Music is ageless, timeless and knows no limit.
